HI JELLYBEANS! Whee I'm slacking on what's supposed to be the day before science practical. lol. Anyways I'm here to say JIAYOUS JIAYOUS JIAYOUS! Science practical tmr! WE CAN DEFINITELY BREEZE THROUGH IT! I mean what's various tubes of chemicals as compared to us, the wonderfully delicious jellybeans? We shall beat those experiments! Keep calm and cool and we shall all get A1! Rmb to bring your calculators and long rulers.
Some pointers:
  • Remember to record your readings in the correct decimal place, the average reading should always have one more decimal place.
  • Take note of the components that are supposed to be in a table and remember to include units in the headings.
  • Be able to identify all the components of experimental design (e.g. title, hypothesis, independent variable - number of levels, trials, dependent variable and constants) so as to conduct a better experiment.
  • Identify sources of errors that are present in the experiment (e.g. Rate of stirring. Strength of stirring. Heat loss/gain through the environment. Human reaction time)
  • If they were to ask for a graph, decide on a bar graph if the data is categorical or counted, decide on a line graph if the data is continuous and assosiated with measurements involving a standard scale.
  • Remember to include a title for the graph.
  • Last but not least, DO NOT BREAK ANY APPARATUS!
lol.
JIAYOUS!
